TEENY-TINY GIFT BOXES

Pop some chocolates in these gorgeous little purses as a sweet thankyou, a table place marker at a special event or just a thoughtful gift for a friend, family member or work colleague. A simple tag completes the package – and it can be made in under half an hour!

Method

  • Download the bag and tag designs below
  • Print them on white cardstock
  • Allow the ink to dry, then cut them out.
  • With a craft knife, cut out the space under one of the handles, but on the other cut along the curved edge only – this piece then becomes the tab to keep the bag closed.
  • Score along the lines with a metal ruler and a scoring tool, then fold them according to the key. Fold the shape into a bag and put the gift in it.
  • Stick double-sided adhesive tape on the back of the small flap under the handle and fold it over to close it, then attach the tag with ribbon.

Tips and hints

  • Use a stylus, a scissor blade or even a letter opener if you don’t have a scoring tool.
  • Decorate the bags with flowers, buttons or beads around them.
  • Cut around the edge of the tag with decorative-edged scissors for a quirky finish.
