I love cupcakes!
I have been a little obsessed with cupcakes ever since I saw a knitted one on a blog over six months ago.
I fell head over heals in love with it. So much so, that I decided on the spot that we just had to have someone make one as a project for the magazine.
I became so enamoured with the idea of cupcake crafts that suddenly, before I knew it we had over a dozen people making things for us!

I have make some wonderful cupcakes from chenille and have knitted some also from a book called ‘One Skein” by Leigh Radford.
I have them on display in may kitchen and everyone comments

Hi there,
I just wanted to say I bought the Handmade cup cake edition and to my suprise and excitement the cup on the front cover is the same as a set I have on display on my kitchen table. My mother inlaw was placed in a nursing home recently and so I was given this particular tea cup set. I am not a big fan of tea cups but I now feel at least, that I am ‘in the know’ of decorating. I thought I may make a cup cake table runner for the cup to sit on. Thanks Handmade.

I have a beautiful little grand daughter who just loves tea parties and I have seen material cupcakes child use for tea parties. They just say it was in Handmade - I have bought every copy since. Could you please re publish the pattern —-please.
Please let me know when the material cup cakes will be out. I have a three year old daughter that has a tea set and I would love to make her some cup cakes to play with.
